For a good part of my life I have been interested in people and what makes them tick.  I consider myself a student of people and their actions and behaviors.  Recently though, I’ve come to understand that I use that information to put people in a box.  In trying to understand them, I’ve limited them and marginalized them; though it is only from my view.

Whereas this habit is likely to not harm another, it has harmed how I view others and of what I believe they are capable.

And it must stop.
